Russell's McCoy
 
   McCoy is one of the older USA potteries.  They made a surprising number of lines. All are collectible.  Some are more valuable than others but all are worth collecting.
   Russell is more than a little attracted to McCoy.  Below is the Davy Crockett Bust cookie jar he recently acquired.  It has only the slightest hairline.  He was thrilled to find an original with all the reproductions that abound these days.

   We also have a pretty good El Rancho collection going.  Here are a couple of pictures of some of those items.





   He is constantly on the lookout for more McCoy wall pockets.  They are getting harder and harder to come by.  These are the only ones he has so far.

   Well, my pictures didn't exactly line up but Russell wanted his Deer and Bird Dog planters where he could look at them anytime he liked so here they are, right up there on the mantle with other pieces he's fond of.



   These are a few of the flower form vases sitting on top of our pie safe and in our china cabinet.  Most of the pieces are made by McCoy though the 2 white mum vases with the gold trim are made by Chic Pottery.  They look an awful lot like the mum vases by McCoy.
   Some of the other items in the china cabinet are a pair of Haeger spotted leopards,a couple of McCoy cats, the McCoy Engine and Wood Car decanters madefor McCormic (he has the 4 piece set in the living room), a McCoy Sailor Bank, Strawberry Bird Jar, 4 different McCoy Gondolas and a set of 12 collector plates. The plates are the 1978 Calhoun's Collectors Society set "The Creation" by Yiannis Koutsis.  They are truly magnificent.
